Taking care of your Vacuum Cleaner is very simple
Easy short steps we need to follow in order to maintain our vacuums working with no issues. Depending on the type of vacuum you have available at home you will follow the proper care for it.
First let's talk about Upright and Canister Vacuum Cleaners:
1.Clean the brushroll
Remove carpet strings, hair and other debris from the brushroll. Debris buildup on the brushroll will cause the vacuum cleaner to have to work harder and may lead to problems.
2. Replace the bag or empty the tank before it's completely full
Usually we wait until the bags get full to replace them but the truth is we are unable to keep exact track of filled bags that can cause the vacuum to overwork. Therefore it is best we empty the bag or replace it before this happens.
3. Replace the return air filter, if equipped on your model, once per year
If this applies for your vacuum the best is to replace every year to avoid future issues.
For customers with Central Vacuum Cleaners:
1. At least two or three times a year, empty the canister before it is completely full
2. Replace the filter, if equipped also once a year. If there is no filter, clean the screen each time the canister is emptied.
Is your vacuum still not working properly, perhaps you need to replace a part, don't forget to check out our website for available vacuum parts.
